“ That was a problem for the school system last Friday because at least seven school buses on Clanton routes were still being run when Chilton County was placed under a tornado warning. Bus drivers, however, took the students back to Clanton Middle School until the storm passed. Clanton Middle is the only school in Chilton County that has a safe hall, which was built to withstand a tornado.
